Could you start a Bio-tech. or Pharmaceutical company with a BS/BA in biology or would you need an MBA?

1Yes you can ... and an MBA is not going make a huge difference except delay your start up time.
If you've indentified a product and/or service and a target population then you'll need a business plan. And the knowledge you have in biology should be helpful. Also location ... location ... location is very important. San Diego has become a MECCA for bio tech companies. I can recommend a good business plan called the SBA Easy Loan Kit (I can give you more information if you're interested).
