Biopharmaceutical services are basically the good that the products developed by the industry can do for the mankind. More precisely against what diseases biopharmaceutical products are used. So in this section we will summarize the main usages of biopharmaceutical products.
The most commonly known biopharmaceutical is Erythropoietin that is used for fighting anaemia. As leukaemia is actually quite widely spread disease with extremely severe consequences, biopharmaceuticals have not let that unnoticed and developed Interferon- α. Interferon- β is also extremely useful product as it actually it has more than one spheres of usage as it can treat multiple types of sclerosis.
Older people, but sometimes even young people due to not enough exercise, are constant suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. For this purpose biopharmaceutical industry has developed monoclonal antibodies. Colony stimulating factors are used as a tool against neutropenia. Gaucher’s disease prophylactic is also developed by the biopharmaceutical industry and that is called Glucocerebrosidase.
These named products are actually only an extremely short list of all the products that have been developed by the biopharmaceutical companies and which are used for making the lives of people better as they fight their diseases. Biopharmaceutical services as they were defined in the beginning of this section are still under development and as biopharmaceuticals have not developed products for a long time, there is no saying what kind of innovations can come out of this industry.
